To what extent does this increase my appreciation and understanding of the great gift of prayer and the exacting responsibility to pray that belongs to every believer?

Page 16  ...we are on the way either to the unspeakable and unending ecstasy of glory or the frightful, eternal tortuous despair of hell.  The final accounting of our stewardship will not be a mere quantitative tally--it will be the eternal crystallization of what by our free choices we have been making ourselves to be all through our lives:  either men and women of authentic love or self-centered egoists.
