Women of Grace at Our Lady of Mercy in Deerfield Beach, Florida celebrated a grace-filled First Saturday on November 4th. These beautiful sacred sisters attended morning Mass together and then processed through the Holy Doors, designated for the Jubilee Year of Mercy. Together they prayed for the Holy Father, Pope Francis's intentions to receive the Plenary Indulgence.

Women of Grace at the Padre Pio Festival

Bonnie Torpey, Susan Jacobsen, Nancy Elhajj, Antonetta Mosca and Lori Citsay represented the Women of Grace sacred sisterhood at an information table at the 16^th annual Padre Pio Festival in Vineland, New Jersey on September 25, 2016. Over 8000 people had the opportunity to venerate the heart of Padre Pio that was brought to the United States for the first time by Capuchin Friars from the Shrine of St. Padre Pio in southern Italy.

Solemnity of Mother of God

Mary Virgin and Mother

Oh, Virgin Joy of all the world art thou

In whose white, fragrant steps the countless throng

On souls elect doth follow God with song:

Creation’s Queen, whose bright and holy brow

The multitude of Saints, like stars, endow

With changeful splendors, flashing far and strong:

The Main unshadow’d by the primal wrong:

God’s Lily, chosen in His shrine to bow

All these thy glories are, and still a grace

More high, more dread, and yet more sweet and fair,

Doth bind thy royal brows, O Mary blest.

God called thee Mother; yea, His sacred face

The tender likeness of thine own doth wear.

And thou art ours --- we trust Him for the rest.

Today is the Solemnity of Mother of God. What references do we see to this title of Mary in the Saint’s poem? Which touches you most deeply and why? Consider the title the Saint gives to Our Lady – Creation’s Queen. Ponder the way in which all of creation’s surrender to God is found most perfectly in Mary’s “fiat” to God. Journal your thoughts. How can you unite your “yes” to God in hers?

My Dear Friends in Christ,

As we enter the final days of Advent and begin our journey into the season of Christmas, we joyfully anticipate the great gift of the Christ Child and all that His birth has meant to humanity. Our hearts are filled with gratitude for this unfathomable gift.

We are also filled with gratitude for all that you have done to support the mission of Women of Grace and all of our outreaches. We wish all of our benefactors, customers and friends the peace, joy and love of Jesus Christ and pray that the He will fill your hearts with His Love and Peace! May the coming New Year bring you "every spiritual blessing in the heaven!" (Ephesians 1:3)

All of the staff of Living His Life Abundantly® and Women of Grace® offer our prayers for you and your intentions during this Christmas season. We ask you to please remember us and the efforts of our apostolate during your times of prayer! I would also ask you to prayerfully consider making a sacrificial year-end donation to assist us in our mission of evangelization for the coming year.
