“Patience is power. Patience is not an absence of action; rather it is "timing", it waits on the right time to act, for the right principles and in the right way.” ― Fulton J. Sheen
For Reflection:
According to Bishop Sheen, how do I time my 'power'? Do I wait for the right time to act or do I simply react and explode for all the wrong reasons and lose my credibility in situations? Sometimes biting my tongue and swallowing the blood is the only and best action to take.
Section Five: Scripture Passage for Meditation
Let us exult too, in our hardships, understanding that hardship develops perseverance, and perseverance develops a tested character, something that gives us hope, and a hope which will not let us down, because the love of God has been poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit which has been given to us.--Romans 5:3-5 (The New Jerusalem Bible)
