O come, O come, Emmanuel,

And ransom captive Israel,

That mourns in lonely exile here,

Until the Son of God appear.

For Reflection:           

What place of “exile” within myself most needs to experience the Savior’s presence? Today, I will offer this part of myself to Him as an act of love and an act of humility.
