Spiritual Infirmity

gracelinesheader

“What could be more out of keeping withfoul language our holy religion than impure language? It outrages God. It scandalizes our neighbor. Can a Christian really afford to occupy his mind with such horrible images; a Christian who has been sanctified by contact with the most Adorable Body and Precious Blood of Jesus Christ?”

                                 ~St. John Vianney

For Reflection:

Do I use impure or foul language? How is this an offense to the Eucharistic presence of Jesus Christ? Am I willing to wage a war against this spiritual infirmity?
