gracelinesheader“Before she was poor, and now she is rich;Baptism Grace before she was ignorant, and now she is truly wise; before she was proud, and now she is humble. She is now worthy and I accept her as my bride.”

~Jesus to His Mother about St. Catherine of Alexandria given to the saint in a dream following her baptism

For Reflection:

It was at this moment that Blessed Anne saw a mass of brilliant light pierce the room in a long slanting shaft from ceiling to floor. Inside this glowing light was a shining white youth with flowing yellow hair who seemed to float down the shaft. It was the Archangel Gabriel. He gently moved his arms away from his body as he spoke to Mary. “Full of grace. Blessed are you among women. Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call His name Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give to Him the throne of His father, David, and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end . . .”
