When adversity and suffering come

April 19th
“Many people are pleased by what they hear, and sincerely resolve to pursue the good. Yet when adversity and suffering come, they soon abandon their good works.”
-St. Gregory the Great
Today's Reflection:
In what area is your resolve weakening today? With that in mind let us pray:
Heavenly Father,
Today I ask you to give me the grace to “hang on and hang in” regarding this particular situation or area of my life. Give me the strength, fortitude, patience, and perseverance I need. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
St. Gregory the Great, pray for us!
