“Wisdom enters through love, silence, and mortification. It is great wisdom to know how to be silent and to look at neither the remarks, nor the deeds, nor the lives of others.”
-St John of the Cross
Today’s Reflection:
The Lord loves it when we ask for wisdom. Pray for wisdom today!
St. John of the Cross offers a difficult word about being preoccupied with the words, actions, or lives of others. Pay close attention to whether you have this tendency, and consider taking it to confession next time you go if you struggle with this imperfection.
