When 45-year-old Deanna Williston of Sykesville, Maryland completed her Master’s degree in Education this year, this former home-schooling mom wondered “What next?” But then she heard about the Benedicta Leadership Institute's new Catholic Women’s Leadership program at Holy Apostles College and Seminary and suddenly it all clicked - “This is it for me!”
The Young Women of Grace program is just over a year old and, thanks to the creativity and generosity of women leaders, is finding its way into a variety of settings which now include CCD classes.

On June 8, 2017, St. Mark's in Southwest Ranches, Florida hosted a beautiful graduation ceremony for the completion of their Llenas de Gracia: Las Mujeres y la Vida Abundante study group, graduating 31 new women into the Women of Grace® family.
There’s nothing that Planned Parenthood would like more than to jump on the Wonder Woman bandwagon, but this production is hardly the epitome of the old-school feminism that inspired the story nearly 75 years ago.
Commentary by Christine MooreJohnnette’s UN speech was inspiring for many reasons, but what I loved the most was the way it opened my eyes to a deeper understanding of God’s mission for women and finding it through our authentic femininity. After reflecting on it more, I couldn’t help but question why I had never seen myself, or women in general, as makers and builders of peace. Because of this, her speech taught me how crucial our roles are as women.
