Demand a Proper Burial for Gosnell Babies!

The Philadelphia Medical Examiner's office has denied a request by Father Frank Pavone to allow him to give a proper burial to the remains of 45 infants who were found on the premises of House-of-Horrors abortionist, Dr. Kermit Gosnell. A nationwide effort is now underway to convince the Medical Examiner to change his mind.

After receiving the refusal from the Medical Examiner's office, Father Frank Pavone published an impassioned plea on his website with the hopes of rallying pro-life forces across the country to come to the aid of the babies killed in abortion at Gosnell's clinic.

"We have already given names to these 45 babies, most of whom are in pieces," Father Frank writes. "When Gosnell's mill was raided, they were found in jars, in cat litter boxes and orange juice containers, and in plastic bags in the freezer. Haven't these babies already suffered enough indignity? Isn't it time to honor these bodies with a funeral and a proper burial?"

This is exactly what Father Pavone asked of the Medical Examiner who decided not to turn over the bodies for burial.

" . . . (T)hat, of course, leaves two questions unanswered: a) Why not? b) What will be done with these babies?" Father asks.

He has not yet received an answer and is asking everyone to call the Medical Examiner's office to respectfully ask that the bodies be turned over for a proper burial. Click here for contact information and suggestions about how to make this request.

In addition, Bryan Kemper of Stand True, Priests for Life youth ministry, is organizing a Tweetfest for Friday, June 7, in which he's asking everyone to participate by tweeting a demand for the proper burial of the Gosnell babies and use the hashtag #GosnellBabies.
