The Disney-owned FXX will feature the animated horror-comedy series which it describes as a show that, “follows a reluctant mother (Plaza) 13 years after being impregnated by Devil (Danny DeVito). She and her Antichrist daughter (Lucy DeVito) attempt to live an ordinary life in Delaware but are constantly thwarted by monstrous forces, including Satan, who yearns for custody of his daughter’s soul.”
The daughter is caught in the middle of a custody arrangement between Satan and the mother who has been trying to hide the father’s true identity. As reviewer Alex Reif puts it, “Chrissy is not only pulled between her two parents in a new shared-custody arrangement, but is also expected to help her father regain control of Hell as his Antichrist. What’s a girl to do?”
In one teaser, Satan’s daughter describes herself as “your friendly neighborhood antichrist” and tells a schoolmate, “Did you know my mom had sex with Satan?” and claims she and her father are “all powerful beings…”
John Horvat, Vice President of Tradition, Faith and Family, says that although the series has not yet been released, the clips contain disturbing messages:
• Images of the series feature bloody scenes of dismembered corpses (including dead teenagers), nude bodies, and demonic images throughout.
• A script from a trailer of the film features Satan congratulating his daughter for shedding blood and for killing teenagers at her school.
• Satan tells his daughter: "Don't let other peoples' moral laws make you think what you did was wrong"
• Another trailer shows school students being torn apart in gory detail by a demonic force.
• Vulgarity, profanity and violence are laced throughout which cannot be detailed here

Reif concludes: “Little Demon shows a lot of promise, particularly through its hellish twists on a shared custody arrangement. It’s not for everyone’s tastes, with both a premise and tone that is sure to put off many viewers. But if you’re a horror film junkee, a fan of the occult, or simply like twisted comedies that leave your jaw on the floor in shock, this show is for you.”
Christian reviewers see it much differently and are petitioning Disney to cancel the series. “Disney is not content with pushing homosexuality and cannibalism,” Horvat writes. “The company now promotes outright Satanism. Please sign our petition urging Disney to cancel this film. Help us protest this abomination to help protect our country from Satanism.”
