Various news sources are reporting that a 32 year-old woman, whose name is being withheld to protect her daughter's identity, was involved in negotiations with a man identified only as "Don" to allow her daughter to have sex with him in exchange for $10,000. The plot was discovered when her boyfriend found text messages on her cell phone that contained details of the deal the two were making.
According to charges filed in Utah's 3rd District Court, the woman also admitted to taking her daughter to a Victoria's Secret store where she allowed Don to watch the girl model bras and thong underwear.
Prosecutors say she also sent photos of her daughter wearing lingerie to a man named Will who was going to pay for the photos.
The daughter said she initially agreed to the deal with Don, but changed her mind later.
Authorities have not commented on whether police have identified the men with whom the woman was dealing.
The woman has been charged with two felony counts of aggravated sexual abuse and two felony counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. Bail has been set at $250,000.
