New Dating Service for Would-Be Adulterers

By Susan Brinkmann Staff Writer The moral climate in America is hitting a new low in Texas these days. A new dating service is targeting the state's married people and encouraging them to commit adultery. According to a report by OneNewsNow.com, the Ashley Madison Agency is running television ads that offer married people an opportunity to hook up with someone else. Bill Johnson of the American Decency Association says the commercials are "basically giving married people a place to find attachment with others who are available -- whether married or unmarried."   The company also advertises in magazines. One ad features a stone tablet bearing one of the Ten Commandments with the words modified to read: “Thou shall make money from adultery.” Their website sports statements such as “Life is short, have an affair” and promises “Have an affair . . . guaranteed.” Ashley Madison claims to have more than 3.2 million subscribers, and proudly boasts that in Texas alone, 200,000 people have signed up with the company's "Infidelity Service" in the past two years. Their commercials were recently rejected by the Super Bowl and NBC, but aired on Texas television stations during the game. “They proudly announce that they have been able to run their ads successfully on CNN, ESPN, Fox News, and MSNBC," Johnson reports. © All Rights Reserved, Living His Life Abundantly/Women of Grace. http://www.womenofgrace.com
