“Why fear the storm when the heavens are serene?”
-St. Thérèse of Lisieux
Today's Reflection:
Even when the ever-worsening tuberculosis darkened her future, Thérèse remained in the present moment, availing herself of all the graces God had for her in that moment, certain that He would be there for her no matter what the future brought. Do I often worry about the future? What about the future worries me the most? Am I confident that I can give those worries to Jesus because He will be there for me with all the graces I need when those future storms arrive?
St. Thérèse, help me to leave my worries about future storms with God and remain focused on the here-and-now so that I won’t miss a single drop of grace that God has in store for me today
