According to a report on the Rush Limbaugh Radio Show, the story that Culpo broke up with Tebow because he wouldn’t have sex with her is nothing more than a trumped up tale.
Not surprisingly, the rumor was started by the New York Daily News (NYDN) the same newspaper that dissed all Americans who chose to pray in the wake of the San Bernardino massacre. Obviously the NYDN got it wrong again.
As Limbaugh learned from the more professional reporting of TMZ Sports, Tebow and Culpo never dated.
“We're told the chatter started after Olivia and Tim met in church a few months ago -- and even though their reps denied it, a lot of people ran with it,” TMZ reports. “Our sources say Tim did show interest in Olivia, and they hung out a few times WITH mutual friends ... but never had a one-on-one date.”
Even though it's not true, the story served to be great fodder for anti-Christian mediaites because, as Rush Limbaugh describes, “the Drive-By news stories about all this were just filled with laughter, mocking Tebow, mocking his values, mocking his attitudes, mocking his Christianity. I mean just openly laughing at the guy and implying that he's a kook and a nerd and a weirdo and what kind of oddball, particularly an athlete, lives this way in the United States in 2015.”
The only problem is that “it was all made up. All of it,” Limbaugh reports. “Now, who would do that, and why . . . "
He goes on to answer his own question. "Obviously an anti-Christian zealot . . .”
