The same gay couple who displayed a mannequin of Gov. Sarah Palin hanging from a noose last Halloween decided to up-the-ante this year by displaying crude effigies of traditional marriage supporters Maggie Gallagher, Carrie Prejean, and a Mormon missionary.
Peter LaBarbera, president of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality, reports that the “uber-tacky rooftop hate-displays” by a West Hollywood homosexual couple, ChadMichael Morrisette and Mito Aviles, featured the head of Maggie Gallagher, founder of the National Organization for Marriage, attached to a nude mannequin with the word “Liar” written across her stomach.
Another display was of a partially dismembered mannequin wearing a blond wig which was supposed to represent former Miss California 2009 Carrie Prejean, who was viciously maligned by homosexual gossip columnist Perez Hilton for speaking out in defense of traditional marriage during a recent pageant.
A third display featured a mock Mormon missionary who is shown stuck and on fire in a chimney flew, which was meant to disparage the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS)’ central role in passing Prop 8, a ballot amendment that reinstated traditional marriage in California.
“The deviant duo says the theme for their bigoted rooftop display is the ‘forces of evil 2009’,” Mr. LaBarbera wrote.
“Delighted by their 15 minutes of fame last Halloween for infamously hanging a mannequin dressed up as Sarah Palin with a noose around her neck, the homosexual couple this year has broadened its hate campaign by loading their house’s rooftop with several new images attacking social conservatives.”
He added that the couple is “seemingly oblivious to the nastiness of their crude attacks on religious and conservative leaders. “
