By Susan Brinkmann, OCDS Staff Journalist The nation's most prestigious pro-life law and policy organization is launching a series of hard-hitting radio ads this week that will hold lawmakers accountable for voting for taxpayer funded abortion in President Obama's health care reform bill. Americans United for Life (AUL) is planning to reach out to voters in a series of radio campaigns designed to remind voters in key battle ground states about their representatives’ vote for taxpayer funded abortion. The effort, which begins tomorrow, is called the "Life Counts" campaign, and will initially target Rep. Baron Hill (IN-9), Rep. Chris Carney (PA-10) and Rep. John Boccieri (OH-16). All of these lawmakers previously voted to block taxpayer funded abortions but decided against life when it came time to vote for the new health care reform bill. "When our founding fathers said  that all men are created equal with certain inalienable human rights, the first right they listed was life.  Life counts! And it should be protected," begins the ad scheduled to run in Rep. Hill's district. It goes on to point out that "Congressman Baron Hill voted for taxpayer funded abortion in Nancy Pelosi's health care bill. He says he shares our values when he's running for re-election here at home, but when he's in Washington, he votes for the largest expansion of taxpayer funded abortion ever." Tough and to the point, AUL Action’s campaign will target other politicians who ultimately decided to throw aside pledges to fight taxpayer funded abortion. The three ads scheduled to begin running tomorrow are just the first of a dozen or more ads slated for districts where representatives who say they support life need to be held accountable for following House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's lead and voting against it. “The AUL Action ad campaign targets Representatives who voted for the largest expansion of federal funding of abortion ever," said AUL Action President Dr. Charmaine Yoest, "and they will not be able to hide from that vote any longer." © All Rights Reserved, Living His Life Abundantly®/Women of Grace®  http://www.womenofgrace.com
