Susan Brinkmann, OCDS, is the co-author of Young Women of Grace: Embrace Your Femininity Study. award-winning journalist is a member of the Third Order of Discalced Carmelites. She is the Director of Communications and New Age Research for Women of Grace® and is a frequent guest on EWTN's Women of Grace® television show. She formerly worked as a Correspondent for the Catholic Standard & Times, the newspaper for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. She has also authored seven books, including The Learn to Discern Compendium: Is It Christian or New Age which has an imprimatur from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Liguori Publications published the story of her conversion, entitled, We Need to Talk: God Speaks to a Modern Girl. She is the author of The Catholic Guide to Mindfulness, published by Avila Institute, which has an imprimatur from the Diocese of Birmingham. Her latest book, With God Alone: Contemplative Prayer for Everyday People is published by the Catholic Life Institute Press.
Mary Dillenback is co-developer of the Young Women of Grace program and the co-author of the Young Women of Grace Facilitator/Teacher Guide. She taught at the elementary school level for 26 years. Her assignments included teaching Gifted and Talented students, as well as regular and inclusionary classroom settings. Since retiring, Mary has devoted her life to working to spread the Women of Grace apostolate, as a facilitator for the Women of Grace Foundational Study, and as a Regional Coordinator. Mary is Regional Coordinator Liaison and serves on the Women of Grace Leadership team that has trained facilitators in several states. Mary is Chair of the Facilitator Growth and Development Task Force which hosts a monthly Facilitator Network Conference Call. She is also part of the team that is developing Dare to Prepare retreats for Young Women of Grace. Mary, a Third Order Carmelite, lives on the St. Lawrence River in Fishers Landing, New York. She is married, has two sons and six grandsons.
Susan Jacobsen is co-developer of the Young Women of Grace program and was project manager for the corresponding Facilitator/Teacher Guide. Susan is a retired teacher of middle school, high school and adult education. She earned a master’s degree in Instructional Design and Technology. In addition to her 29 years of teaching, she wrote curricula and made presentations in child and adolescent development, family community leadership and technology integration. Susan is an award-winning teacher and in 2002 was named Cumberland County Teacher of the Year in New Jersey. Susan is a member of the Women of Grace Leadership Team and has trained facilitators in several states. She also served as co-developer of the 12-month Morning of Grace programs for adult participants. Susan is a Women of Grace Regional Coordinator and facilitator of the adult and teen studies. She lives in Millville, New Jersey and is a wife, mother and grandmother.
