Today's Reflection:
True love has a power all its own. When we really love someone, there’s nothing we wouldn’t do for that person, no matter how difficult or even impossible it may seem. Thérèse understood this so well that she made love for God and man the guiding principle of her life – and it made her a saint! What “true loves” in my life motivate me to do great things? Does my love for God motivate me in this way?
St. Thérèse, you dearly loved your family, but God was your “true love” in life and your love for Him is what motivated you to love others so purely and faithfully. Pray for me that I might grow to love Him so much that I can one day call Him my one true love.
