At the end of our pilgrimage

October 15

"We have only the short moment of this life to give to God."

-St. Thérèse of Lisieux

Today's Reflection:

It’s easy to view this life as never-ending, but Thérèse’s words warn us that this is not so. Our life is very short and at the end of our pilgrimage, we will be judged on how much we loved God and neighbor. Am I ready to face that judgement today?

St. Thérèse, help me to be more mindful of the shortness of my life so that I will live each day loving God and neighbor to the best of my ability.
