The annual rosary campaign hosted by American Needs Fatima (ANF) is looking to recruit 23,500 volunteers to lead a rosary rally in their community as part of the national Public Square Rosary Crusade that takes place every year in October.According the ANF, this year’s event will be held nationwide on October 10 and will mark the nineteenth year that American Catholics have gathered publicly to pray for reparation for the sins of the country and the conversion of our country. Since 2007, America Needs Fatima has organized more than 400,000 monthly and protest rosary rallies, with the October public crusade always being the largest. Last year, more than 23,000 rallies took place during the national crusade, and each was attended by between 2 and 250 people, as reported by rally captains.
Those who wish to lead a rally in October will be provided with all the instructions and materials needed. A free downloadable step-by-step manual, available in English and Spanish, helps captains organize rallies and invite attendees, and includes a prayer program for the day of the rally. ANF also provides a free banner to display during the rally, downloadable posters and artwork, and ongoing phone and email support.
“The Fatima message, which is to pray the rosary for peace in our world, is more relevant today than ever,” said Mr. Robert E. Ritchie, executive director of America Needs Fatima. “Moral corruption and chaos are prevalent throughout our society and need to be overcome and corrected. We are now asking America’s faithful to stand up on street corners across the country and lead others in prayer, asking God and the Blessed Mother to save us from the evil that is found everywhere.”
