St. Josephine Bakhita Feast Day

It is natural to express thanksgiving for being released from difficult trials and circumstances. But who would be grateful for those who cause such difficult trials or circumstances? This is the stuff of saints – the very stuff of which Saint Josephine Bakhita was made. Read more below from the Encyclical Letter "Spe Salvi" and click here for reflection about Saint Josephine's life.

Make Lent 2022 a Time to Strengthen Your Marriage

The beginning of Lent is exactly one month from today. We all know that the  hectic pace of life has a way of reeling out-of-control, which often means neglecting what we cherish for the sake of doing what “has to get done.” Lent is the perfect time to reel it back in, to pay attention to what’s really important – including our marriage!

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Feast Day

In my reliquary, I have a first class relic of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, the first native-born American to be canonized. I find it appropriate that a woman was the first of our land to be lifted to the altar of Christ by Holy Mother Church. After all, our country and all of North America is dedicated to the woman: the Blessed Virgin Mary under her title of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Our special patroness is also the Blessed Mother under her name, Immaculate Conception.

A Rosary Army for the Month of the Holy Rosary

"Give me an army praying the rosary and I will conquer the world." - Pope Pius IX
Dear Rosary Crusaders, welcome to October, the month of the Holy Rosary!

It's a month in which we rededicate ourselves to our prayer of the Rosary. Perhaps you are praying it for the first time. Or maybe you will begin praying it every day. Or you might be called to pray it more fervently than ever before through your participation in a Rosary group or campaign. Our Lord Jesus and His Blessed Mother Mary will guide each of us in how we are to grow in our commitment to this powerful prayer.

Happy Birthday Blessed Mother Mary!

"When the most holy Virgin was born, the whole world was made radiant; blessed is the branch and blessed the stem which bore such holy fruit." -Liturgy of the Hours
Today we celebrate a very special feast day, the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. On the day of her birth, the world was made more radiant because she would bear Christ, Our Savior, to the world.

Whom shall I fear?

May the peace and love of Our Risen Lord Jesus Christ be yours today and always!

Thank you for your support of our mission to transform the world through our outreach and formation programs for women. If ever there was a time when forward movement was of the utmost importance, it is this time. With courage, vigor, constancy, and hope, we must rise up to meet the challenges of the day, always remembering that though they may be great, God’s grace is greater. The evil one would wrap us in chains of fear, panic, discouragement, and despair. But God wants to liberate us through His mercy, love, peace, and joy.

Modern times are dominated by Satan

“Modern times are dominated by Satan and will be more so in the future. The conflict with hell cannot be engaged by men, even the most clever. The Immaculata alone has from God the promise of victory over Satan. However, assumed into Heaven, the Mother of God now requires our cooperation. She seeks souls who will consecrate themselves entirely to her, who will become in her hands effective instruments for the defeat of Satan and the spreading of God's kingdom upon earth.” - St. Maximilian Kolbe
Last Saturday we celebrated the feast of one of my favorite saints, St. Maximilian Kolbe. My husband and I love him so much that we named our beloved dog Kolbe after him.
