The First True Champion of Women’s Rights: Jesus Christ

Even though International Women’s Day celebrates many champions of women’s rights, too many of these figures represent a narrow view of women’s rights that are mostly defined by liberal versions of “gender equality.” But anyone who knows their history knows that the single greatest champion of women’s rights – and the one who set the tone for all others to come - is none other than Jesus Christ.

Why the Equal Rights Amendment Needs to Die . . . Again

While many of us were unaware, the Equal Rights (ERA) Amendment – which many believe is just about granting women equality in America – almost met the 38-state threshold needed to amend the U.S. Constitution a few days ago when Virginia lawmakers took up the issue. Vatican Confronts UN on Women's Equality

Chullikatt Apostolic Nuncio and Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the United Nations (UN) challenged the UN on its notion that women's equality is dependent upon the negation of their procreative capacities and said women should not have to abandon what is essential to them in order to be treated equally in society.
