Just as the U.S. Senate appears to be on the verge of passing the controversial Respect for Marriage Act (RFMA), a group of 12 senators are calling for a delay in the vote until a new amendment can be considered that will ensure religious freedom to those who oppose same-sex marriage.

A Christian cake designer from Bakersfield, California was awarded a major First Amendment victory when a Superior Court decided she had the right to refuse to bake a cake for a same-sex wedding because it violated her sincerely held religious beliefs.
A district court judge in Illinois has ruled in favor of the Archdiocese of Chicago in a lawsuit brought against the church by a homosexual man who was fired from his position as music director in a parish after he publicly announced his engagement to a man.
Just 12 days from now, the country of Ireland will vote on the issue of same-sex marriage and the faithful in that nation are pleading with the world – and people of all faiths – to join them in praying that this immorality will not be imposed upon their nation.

The state of Alabama may soon become ground zero in the national marriage fight as the Alabama Supreme Court issues an historic ruling that not only restores the ban on same-sex marriage in that state - but also systematically eviscerates the national argument in favor of homosexual unions.
Even though the U.S. Supreme Court intervened to allow same-sex couples in Alabama to marry in spite of a voter approved ban on the practice, the state’s chief justice ordered all state judges to refuse to do so – and most of them are complying!
