The rise of the modern practice of mindfulness into the field of therapy has posed a conundrum for many Catholics who want the therapy, but without the Buddhist roots. What are their options and how do they find them?
Wayne Dyer (1940 - 2015)MR writes: “I have Catholic friends who really like Wayne Dyer on PBS and tell me that he believes the same as we do. I think he is a new ager who twists the truth. Would you do a program about the incompatibility of his work with Catholicism or share your insights about him on your blog page? I need your help in expressing my concerns about him.”

We received this letter from a professional belly dancer which gives more information about this dance form and ways in which the New Age has managed to infiltrate it.

Yes, you read that headline correctly. Believe it or not, a church claiming to exist for the purpose of serving mankind claims to have discovered a “miracle cure” capable of curing 95 percent of all diseases found in the world today. What is this miraculous substance? None other than industrial bleach.
RL asks: “Do you know anything about a rosary called the “Rosary of Liberation”. I was given a book with that title. It’s published by Raboni Publishing House. Just wondering if this passes the smell test.”
Just because most public schools no longer promote Christian spirituality doesn't mean they are "spirituality-free." As this recently received email explains, many schools are merely replacing Christian spirituality with other forms of "spirituality" - including that of the New Age and the occult.
LM writes: “Are Church Grims a real thing? Are they of demonic origin? There are some that are considered benevolent (like the one at Boston College). Is it possible that some of these are of God?”
