The Catechism teaches that four faculties of the human person are involved in prayer: the imagination, the emotion, the intellect and the will. How do I see these four faculties present in the quotation of Brother Lawrence? Which faculty do I most need to engage?

Be attentive to take care of yourself and your family according to His will, and do not worry about anything else.  If you do this, you will see that Jesus is taking care of you. One time He said to St Catherine of Siena that she should think about Him because He was always thinking about her.
