Sometimes I think God is not mindful of my circumstance. What insight does this scripture passage give me about the workings of God in my life? Am I willing to exercise patience in this regard?

Pope John XXIII named Father Danielou a peritus, or expert adviser, to the Second Vatican Council, and a few years later he was elevated to cardinal by Pope Paul VI. Toward the end of his life, Cardinal Danielou devoted as much time to the poor as he did to his books, and he died while ministering in the slums of Paris in 1974.
