INTRODUCTION
Within the last twenty years a number of theologians who support the Church's teaching on the all-male priesthood have written on the role of women in the Church, namely, Henri De Lubac, Louis Bouyer, E.L. Mascall, Han Urs von Balthasar, Manfred Hauke, and Donald Keefe, S.J. Pope John Paul II's Mulieris Dignitatem is a significant contribution on the topic.
