I was filled with many deeply painful experiences in my life, that I could not understand why God was allowing to happen to me. But then...
Women of Grace and Johnnette Williams brought much-needed transformation into my life! I began to learn to embrace my cross, find purpose in my pain and began uniting it to Jesus' suffering so that God could use it as a "cargo of His Immense Glory" for my soul and the souls of others. There are no words to express how much I have grown, gathered many Jewels of wisdom and my heart has expanded leaps and bounds! Truly all by listening to Women of Grace everyday, for more than 30 years-- as I still do-- as I head out for my daily walk of exercise each morning!
I am now enjoying many of the Women of Grace online book studies! I felt The Holy Spirit prompting me to take this "Full of Grace" study, and I'm so glad I gave my fiat and said "Yes!" I especially now understand what "feminine genius" really means- to ask Jesus and Mary to use me, as their broken instrument that I am, to help breathe LIFE into a hurting world from "the womb of my heart". I am so thankful to have met and shared with all of you beautiful lovely ladies! You all are such a blessing to me! I pray that others may experience the healing and loving arms of our most merciful Father and our Mother Mary, as I have! Also, when we began this study, we were told that it would be like, "being given a rose and that hopefully we would see that rose blossom and unfold". This study has definitely produced many "rose petals" in the depths of my heart! Thank You!
Lastly, I found this beautiful "Rosebud Prayer" that I wanted to share with you all It's about accepting God's will by The Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate.
'LORD, teach me to be patient with Life, with people, and myself. I sometimes try to hurry things along too much, and I push for answers before the time is right. Teach me to trust your sense of timing rather than my own, and to surrender my will to your greater and wiser plan! Help me to let life unfold slowly, like the small rosebud, whose petals unravel bit by bit and remind me that in hurrying the bloom along I destroy the bud and much of the BEAUTY therein. Instead, let me wait for all to unfold in its own time... each moment and state of growth contains a loveliness! Teach me to slow down enough to appreciate life and all it holds!' Amen
Thank you to everyone who makes Women of Grace possible! I am immensely grateful for all you do in building up the kingdom of God!
