LifeNews is reporting that Gosnell, who has been in jail since his arrest in 2011, is now spending his time in the Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility where he is being kept in solitary confinement. The reason for the special quarters is because of the high risk of violence against him by fellow prisoners.
" . . . (F)ellow prisoners don’t take his crimes of killing babies in infanticides too kindly," LifeNews reports.
"Rapists, child abusers, gang snitchers and the like are normally viewed as the lowest “rank” of prisoner by fellow inmates. They are often confined to solitary or placed in SNY, or the Sensitive Needs Yard, with other fellow prisoners who are at risk for violence if allowed to reside in the general population."
Not even the prison guards show him the respect he thinks he deserves.
According to local Philadelphia reporter J.D. Mullane of the Bucks County Courier Times, Gosnell recently demanded that uniformed officers address him as "doctor", but they refused. "You're just an inmate now, Kermit," the guards said.
If convicted Gosnell could be sentenced to death or life in prison. Should he receive a prison sentence, it is likely that he will live out the rest of his life in similar conditions.
