The shareholders of Johnson & Johnson, one of America's largest providers of birth control pills, have rejected a request by Human Life International to stop selling the pills because of their link to breast cancer.

Chinese researchers are reporting a 17 percent increased breast cancer risk among women who have had an abortion. The study is considered particularly valid because abortion is not stigmatized in China, nor is it connected to abortion ideology and politics.
