TruthRevolt.com is reporting that the report is showing 31,328 abortions among the "non-Hispanic black" population compared to only 24,758 live births during 2012.
The second highest number of abortions vs. births is found among the Hispanic population who aborted 22,917 children but gave birth to 36,642.
Compare these rates to those of white mothers in NYC who gave birth to 39,112 babies and aborted 9,704. Asian/Pacific Islanders gave birth to 24,149 babies and aborted 4,493.
Abortion rates are highest for the 20-29 age group in all ethnic groups.
According to the most recent Abortion Surveillance report issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 36 percent of abortions performed in the U.S. between 2007 and 2010 were on black women, even though blacks make up only 12.8 percent of the population.
Black leaders have long voiced frustration with the legal genocide of blacks which is taking place in abortion clinics throughout the U.S., particularly in Planned Parenthood clinics which were founded by Margaret Sanger, a eugenics supporter who openly encouraged the elimination of blacks, the poor, and other "undesirables." And yet, for various reasons, the black population continues to allow it.
Reverend Dean Nelson, a pastor, grassroots activist, and the vice chairman of the Frederick Douglass Foundation, compared the fate of a black child in the womb to that of a slave from days gone by.
“To me the comparison of a slave who had no rights and was subject to the will of someone more powerful is similar to the idea of a helpless child in the womb that we would not affirm all his rights,” he recently told Brian Fislaments, president of Online for Life.
“While nearly 60 percent of African Americans claim to be pro-life, most are not for completely limiting abortion. Many have participated in abortion in some way, shape, or form. They see it as a bad decision, but many are concerned that there are no other options.”
Other activists such as Ryan Bomberger, founder of the Radiance Foundation, say black babies are being sold out by prominent black leaders who are enabling the abortion industry to destroy them.
“Back in 2005, the NAACP praised the high black abortion rate as compared to the percentage of the population at a NARAL [Pro-Choice America] fundraising gala,” Bomberger told LifeSiteNews. “The very 'civil rights' groups that should be sounding the alarm about this huge disproportionate impact actually partner with the nation's largest abortion chain, Planned Parenthood, ensuring this increasing disparity.”
He added: “When more black babies are aborted than are born alive in NYC and the NAACP responds by supporting Governor Cuomo's radical abortion expansion via the misnamed ‘Women's Equality Act,’ one can understand how the targeting of minorities continues unabated.”
