Exposed! Oregon's Obscene Sex Ed Conference

seasideCommentary by Susan Brinkmann, OCDS

Even the mainstream media is jumping on the news that children being sent by schools to a sexuality conference in Oregon encourages all kinds of obscene sexual behavior, taking meth-amphetamines, simulated sex acts and even instructions on how to have sex over the internet.

The American Life League (ALL) is reporting that the conference is called the Oregon Adolescent Sexuality Conference and is hosted by WISE (Working to Institutionalize Sex Education), an organization headed by so-called "sexuality education expert" Brad Victor. The conference, which is funded by the taxpayer, has been going on for years and boasts of sponsors such as the Oregon Health Authority and the Oregon Department of Education which is listed alongside Planned Parenthood as being a member of the conference's steering committee.

It wasn't until 2013, when the a local watchdog group known as the Parents' Rights in Education, asked ALL's Rita Diller to sit in on the conference to see for herself what kind of smut was being foisted on children as young as 11 years old under the pretext of sex ed. What she saw was so graphic it can barely be described in this article.

For example, children were given pamphlets encouraging them to engage in sexual activity other than intercourse such as bathing together, wearing each other's underwear, role playing, lap dances and strip tease. They were also encouraged to visit porn sites and to learn how to use cyber sex toys during on-line sexual encounters (known as teledildonics).

Diller says she came away from the conference deeply scarred. “I monitor Planned Parenthood sex education on a regular basis and I have seen some unbelievably horrifying situations that young people are put in because of the abortion giant’s fixation with sexualizing children, but never have I seen so many adults work so hard to defile young people than at this conference,” she said.

She also said that she grieves for the students "who spent two long days with adults who relentlessly threw the most vile, deceptive, sexually soaked garbage in their faces in an apparently successful attempt to numb them to sin, to turn them against Christianity, and to tempt them with the embrace of debauchery in some of its most vile apparitions."

Thankfully, her report brought much-needed attention to the conference from parents as well as the local media and caused a group of angry parents to protest this year's conference. The purveyors of this garbage were none too pleased with the attention, including Victor himself who was defensive and even rude when questioned by KOIN6 news reporter Carla Castano.

For instance, when Castano asked Victor if the online sexual encounters he was encouraging students to participate in could be taped and used against students later, he snapped:

“Is this interview going down this line the whole time? If it is, I’m walking out. I’m serious about this,” he told her.

Instead, he insisted that “The material passed out at this conference is dedicated to preventing teen pregnancy, preventing STD’s and also developing healthy relationships.”

ALL is applauding the work of Parents' Rights in Education and others who have worked so hard for so long to bring out the truth about the conference and is hoping that KOIN investigative report will shine a floodlight on the atrocities being perpetrated against children behind closed doors.

"But this is only the first step that must be taken to protect our children and grandchildren," Diller says. "It is increasingly clear to us that what is happening in Oregon is not unique. All across the nation Planned Parenthood and its cohorts are networking with state education departments and others who are in a position to foist its repugnant, abusive sex education on children."

The ALL and its Stop Planned Parenthood International (STOPP) project are working overtime to put a halt to the sexualization of children. Their website contains valuable information we can all use to fight this epidemic of smut that is being foisted upon our children.

"Taking action is imperative," Diller says. "Sitting back and watching these things happen cannot be an option. Inaction will only lead to the destruction and loss of souls."
